The woman, whose name has not yet been released was extracted from her crushed vehicle and taken to the nearby Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital, She is reported to be in stable condition. Police are still searching for the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle that struck the Lexus, causing the larger scale crash.
